2026 Grant Application Cycle

The Monroe County Opioid Advisory Council (MCOAC) is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 funding cycle will be accepted from March 1 through March 31, 2026.

To support prospective applicants, we are hosting a virtual Grant Application Q&A Session on Zoom. This is an opportunity for those intending to apply to walk through the process, clarify guidelines, and ask specific questions.

  • Date: Monday, January 26, 2026

  • Time: 10:00 AM

  • Location: Online via Zoom

Can’t make the meeting? You can still prepare for the upcoming application cycle by reviewing the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council's Approved Remediation List (linked below). All proposals must address at least one strategy from this list to be eligible for funding.

History

In 2023, the Council actively sought public input to guide opioid settlement funding decisions. This included a public survey, a grant application Q&A Zoom session, and a county-wide town hall meeting. These early engagement efforts helped shape our funding priorities and ensure transparency from the start. The first round of applications was conducted and awarded in 2024.
