Monroe County SADD Club is part of the youth sector of the Prevention & Wellness Coalition. SADD is a national organization that was founded in 1981 on the simple philosophy that young people, empowered to help each other, are the most effective force in prevention. Originally founded as Student Against Drunk Drivers, they have since transitioned their name to stand for Students Against Destructive Decisions. There are SADD Clubs in numerous middle and high schools throughout Monroe County. Our Youth Coalition encompasses Monroe County SADD Clubs and is also open to all Monroe County Students grades 6 and up, including home school students.
