No Vape November Poster Contest – East Tennessee Region

Welcome! This is your official guide to the No Vape November Poster Contest, created to raise awareness about the dangers of vaping among middle school students in Tennessee’s East Region.

This initiative is organized by the Tennessee Department of Health – East Region and promoted by PWC.

🎯 Who Can Enter

• Middle school students in grades 6–8

• Open to all counties in the East Region

🧠 Contest Theme

Create a handmade educational poster that shows the dangers of vaping.
You may focus on:

• Physical health impacts

• Mental health effects

• Environmental harm

Your poster should educate and inspire your peers to avoid vaping.

📏 Poster Guidelines

• Posters must be handmade (no digital art)

• Use standard 22x28 inch poster board

• Include both words and visuals

• No violent or graphic images

• No copyrighted characters (TV shows, cartoons, etc.)

• On the back of your poster, include:

  • Your name

  • Your grade

  • Your school

  • Any citations (URLs are fine)

🗓️ Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: November 10

• County Winners Selected: November 12

• Regional Winners Announced: November 17

🏆 Prizes & Recognition

• Top 3 posters from each county will advance to the regional contest

• The regional office will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners

• Prizes awarded at both county and regional levels!
